Query caching Option - DataSet in Power BI Premium\Embedded

The first time a user opens the report, caching is run. Currently, the service only does query caching for the landing page. In other words, when you interact with the report, queries are not cached. Results from caching queries always adhere to security regulations and are specific to the user and dataset context.

You control query caching behavior on the Settings page for the dataset in the Power BI service. It has three possible settings:

• Capacity default: Query caching Off

• Off: Don't use query caching for this dataset.

• On: Use query caching for this dataset.
