Sharing insights is essential for informed decision-making. Microsoft Power BI offers robust reporting capabilities, but distributing these reports effectively can be a challenge. Thankfully, Power BI's subscription feature simplifies this process by automating report delivery. In this blog post, we'll explore how you can seamlessly share Power BI reports with colleagues and stakeholders through OneDrive or SharePoint using report subscriptions.
Step-by-Step Guide:
1. Prepare Your Report: Begin by crafting your report in Power BI Desktop or Power BI Service. Tailor it to the specific needs of your audience, incorporating relevant visualizations and data insights.
2. Set Up a Subscription: Locate the report you wish to share in Power BI Service and navigate to the "Subscribe" button. Here, you'll configure the subscription settings, including frequency, delivery time, and preferred format.

3. Choose “Standard” subscription type.
4. Select “Attach full report” and the format of the output from the dropdown. For Power BI reports, you can subscribe to .pdf and .pptx. For paginated reports, you can subscribe to more formats.

5. Then, select the delivery type.

6. Select OneDrive or SharePoint then select the folder location that you want the subscription to be delivered to.
7. Once you select the location, the Folder will be displayed.
8. Select the Start date, frequency of delivery, scheduled time of delivery and time zone. You can optionally select an End date.

9. Save the subscription.
10.You will receive the full report in the OneDrive or SharePoint location that you selected at the frequency that you selected.
